Support & Engage

There are several ways you can support independent media makers and the efforts of the Abierto Media Fund of Bread & Roses.

1. Volunteers: We are looking for Industry professionals who are willing to share their skills to help promote, produce, and critique projects that the fund supports.

2. Change, not Charity: Contributions of all sizes are much appreciated. We appreciate the $10 donation as much as the $1,000 one.  By coming together and aggregating our giving, we can create real CHANGE. Donations are tax deductible.

3. Engage in dialog about the importance of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the film and television Industry. Tag us on Twitter @AbiertoMedia and use the #RepresentationMatters hashtag. Discuss how media can be used to create changes in public policy and social welfare.

4. Promote the Abierto Media Fund: Write articles about the fund. Talk about it on podcasts. Share stories about how small amounts of money and community support helped you on the journey to completing your film.
